Who should I send my response to concerning an email I received from eBay?
Who or where would be best to send my questions to this email I received from eBay? We reviewed your appeal of an action on your account. Upon further review, we’re unable to grant your appeal because the listings aren’t following our Offensive material policy. We don't allow listings that promote hate, violence, racial or religious intolerance (or organizations dedicated to these notions). We won't become a platform for those who promote hatred toward others. Does this mean I won't be able to sell collectables related to donald trump, members of Congress and their ilk? I think as a way to help people who sell on eBay, along with your above little blurb, there should be a note using an example of what exactly you mean by lies, hate, violence and racial or religious intolerance and use donald trump and many of his actions, as the example of someone who meets and performs all the criteria you mentioned. If I could get a better understanding on how to make a complaint that products related to him should be removed from eBay per their rules on offensive material. Maybe an instructional email? I'm offended by all that he does. There must be a few other people who are offended as well and if they knew how, would use the opportunity to take action. What better name could you use than the world-renowned trump name to compare hate, violence, racial or religious intolerance (or organizations dedicated to these notions) as examples. By refusing to sell products related to him, this could make eBay and their CEO heroes. So yes, if maybe you could send me an email with directions that are easy to follow, on how to make those complaints I have. Maybe a link I could click on that brings me and anyone else, right there. I'm poor and old and am trying to sell some of my beloved vintage collectables for money to use if trump follows through and stops S.S., Medicare, Medicaid and any other perk the American people get. He refers to that kind of help to the American people as babysitting them and then saying how the government can't afford to do it anymore. The billions he spends on the war takes precedence over the spending of money the American people pay in taxes that is supposed to be spent on THEM, not on wars, and using a sharpy and adding his name to places named after real war heroes like John F Kennedy Center, or building monuments to himself like gold statues and Arc De Triomphes. Things are becoming expensive for the average American. The billionaires and corporations like eBay, get tax breaks that amount to billions and they take them all, and want more, and the average American waitresses get tax free tips. It's not exactly a windfall that they can put towards buying a home or saving for the good like when they retire and go to the Met and hear people comment on different people there. Oh, there they are! And of course, Jeff is with them. He keeps them close in case he wants to play motorboat. Oh yes, I'd like to know what exactly was offensive with the lighter. Was it the face of the waiter? If so, I have some round white stickers I can cover the face with so no one will see it and get offended when I repost it. I imagine it's just the face that is offensive and not a cigarette lighter that would cause offence. If you could let me know all the answers to the questions I've asked, I would appreciate it. Mentor5 months agoSorry, but you can not sell anything here that ebay has decided is offensive, regardless of whether it is or not.
If your listing has been taken down do not relisted it unless you can make changes to avoid the bots thinking it is offensive, which can be the photo, title, or some string of characters or words in the description.
There is no appeal to this, but other venues may be less strict than ebay rules posted here:
