Who monitors and controls sellers on Ebay
Why does ebay allow a seller to DELETE feedback that is factual? I recently had a bad experience with a seller, who didn't respond for 48 hours, then shipped my item 50+ hours AFTER I cancelled the order when I found the item elsewhere. When the seller refused a return, I posted FACTUAL INFORMATION with the timeline and a negative rating - only to have the seller delete that feedback within 2 hours of posting it.

Sellers cannot delete feedback. Only support can delete feedback if they believe it violates policy.

OP1 year agoWhy would support delete my feedback and not provide that information to me? If ( and that’s a BIG If) they found something against policy, I can’t believe they wouldn’t tell you that. There was nothing but facts about the timeline, supported by screenshots. I’ve shared this experience with other people who said they experienced the same thing - negative feedback gets deleted. Does eBay want all of their sellers rating 99%?

Customer service should be able to tell you the reason the feedback was removed.
