Who is stealing my money?

Question

I used to sell a lot on Ebay but recently I sold an item for over $200 and got $130. Today I sold an item for $100 and I'm getting $73. **bleep** is going on. Before if you sold something for $25 dollars you got $25 dollars. This is complete Bulls**t. There is nothing left in this country where you don't get screwed. I'm selling things because I need the money, it's not a hobby. Ebay is now a bunch of thieves. R.I.P. Am I alone here?

Selling on eBay has never been free. The fees are how eBay pays for the services they provide.

Click on the payout to see the buyer’s payment and deductions for shipping and any special charges. Click on the buyer’s payment to see what the buyer paid and the fees that eBay deducted.

Buyer pays item price + shipping + sales tax. ebay sends you item price + sales tax less the final value fee, and sends the sales tax to the buyer's state revenue collecting agency. There might be deductions of shipping labels from other sales, promotional fees, store subscription charges, etc deducted from a payout.
