I received a defective part from this seller. I have provided pics of the part the defect as well as the sellers tag that was attached to the part. He adamantly refuses to acknowledge the part as the on that was shipped as well as stating that the part was dirty and oilt. I unboxed it in this condition. He has gone as far as stating that he will report me to Ebay as trying to return a part that wasn't purchased from him.
What can I do.

·3 years agoIf you receive an item that was not described accurately, you have eBay's Money Back Guarantee. Certainly if he sold you the item, that will be on the item on eBay.
Open a Return Request to the right of the item on your purchase history and indicate the reason the item is not described accurately. You will need to include a photo.The seller has three full days to issue a prepaid return shipping label, ( if he wants the item back) or a refund in full. If there is no response from the seller by day 4, return to the case details on your Purchase History under Cancelled Invoices and click on Ask eBay To Step In
