Where's my refund?
The tracking information said my new 17" smart tv was delivered on June 23rd at 4:33pm to my mailbox, but a tv that size will not fit into my small mailbox ! And I was home all day too& it never showed up here either+ eBay won't honor their "money back guarantee" by giving me a refund after they had me wait until June 28th & they won't let me appeal my case too !

Mentor1 year ago@privatelistingbidderidentitiesprotected I am sorry that happened. It sounds like you are a victim of "false tracking "
If the tracking shows the seller did NOT ship to the address you provided at checkout:
After you determine that the seller did not ship to the address provided at checkout you can use this form to report the seller>
https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
Important, select "The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies"
then "Other"
Explain that the seller is using fake USPS tracking numbers
Include these phrases
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
Next gather your documentation for the false tracking and then contact eBay customer service on social media.
Contact the postal carrier and a obtain hard copy documentation on their letter head of the tracking that
does not correspond to a delivery to your address. Other documentation that can be helpful are the package size and weight if they differ greatly from what they should be for your item.
Contact eBay via social media and explain that you have a case of "false tracking" and you should be given the opportunity to provide your documentation to eBay via direct message.
This is different than the usual "item not received" case which is handled automatically and which allows the seller to win by providing tracking that shows delivery.
Contact eBay customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

If this doesn't work then you will need to file a chargeback with your bank/ credit card. Once you go to your funding source eBay can no longer assist you.

Mentor1 year agoTake the tracking number down to the local post office and have them check their GPS system for the exact coordinates of where the package was delivered. If not to your address, they should try and locate the package. If it was to your address, someone may have stolen it off your property. Report it to your local police as well as your homeowners insurance.
