Where to pay for the buyer's return label
Summary: desertpickers1 encountered an issue where two orders were accidentally switched, and one buyer needs to return the wrong item received. They offered to pay for the return label but are unsure how to purchase one without a formal eBay case. golfingaddict suggested using USPS Click and Ship as eBay cannot provide a label unless a return request is made by the buyer.
I accidentally switched 2 orders around and shipped them to the
wrong ones. The 1 buyer contacted me and I said I would pay for
the return label for them if they'd be willing to ship their (wrong) item
back.
Since they have not opened a case or formally asked Ebay to return
their item, WHERE DO I GO TO PURCHASE A RETURN LABEL FOR THE
BUYER?
I can't find that link anywhere and the articles aren't for this specific
issue.

eBay does not have the ability or option to purchase a label or provide a label unless the buyer opens a return request.
