Question

I made a purchase Feb 21. as of Feb 26, still not shipped. My money was taken in seconds. Ebay claims, seller refused to cancel. Seller claims, Ebay wouldn't let them cancel. Now been 10 days and no item, no money and no communication from Ebay. As of today, still not shipped and no cancellation. Only articles to read for my enjoyment.

Buyers cannot cancel their purchases. Why do you need to cancel the transaction? Do you no longer want the item?

What is the estimated date of delivery, as shown in the order details in your Purchase History? Has that date of delivery passed already?

IF/WHEN the latest estimated date of delivery has already passed by at least 1 day, you have up to 30 days past estimated date of delivery to file a Refund Request:

Go to your My Ebay page >> Purchase history

Select “More actions” beside your item and then “I didn't receive it.”
Click the box beside I want a refund.
Select Send request.

If the seller does not respond to the refund request, after 3 business days you can ask Ebay to step in to help you.

Find the item in your Purchase History
Select See request details
Select “Ask eBay to step in.”

Go to your Purchase History and locate the purchased item. What is the last estimated delivery date? You have up to 30 days past that date in order to file an Item Not Received case, to get your money back. Once you file, the seller has 3 days to provide a tracking number that shows Delivered or issue a full refund. If the seller does neither, on day 4 you return to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force a refund.

If it is past the 30 day limit, you will need to log into Paypal and file an Item Not Received case there, if that is how you paid, as they allow up to 180 days from date of purchase to file, to get your money back.

If you paid with a credit card, file a charge back with your credit card issuer.
