Where is customer service?
I used to be able to speak to customer service when I had a problem but try, try as I may, I am not able to contact eBay anymore. I'm getting ready to retire this store I have. It's gotten too hard to sell on here. I'm just about done with it.

Mentor1 month agoeBay has not had direct phone numbers for customer service in several years. You can ask your question here and we can either give you the answer you need or tell you that only customer service can help you. Depending on the question we may be more accurate than customer service.
However, if you want you can contact customer service using this link and ask for a call back: eBay Customer Service Customer service is open from 5am to 9pm Pacific Time. Unfortunately you will still need to answer the AI bot questions in order to get help. eBay removed our way to get around the questions so you may need to ask for “Agent” several times before the system gets the message and lets you ask for the call back. Please be aware that there are several things that can prevent you from receiving the return call. Some phone service providers have spam filters that will block eBay calls. Also, this can happen if you are using a VOIP phone number from your Internet provider.

OP1 month agoNo you can't. I usedto have a link where I could request a call back but it's been removed. Every time I click on contact us, I go around in a circle like a dog chasing it's tail. I'm frustrated and just done with it. I've been selling on here for over 21 years and I'm a top rated seller. They've gotten too big and they don't care anymore.

Mentor1 month ago@405pamelas What is reason you are wanting to contact customer service? I may be able to give you a path past the bots. OR even answer your question.

OP1 month ago1st reason is I got a message from eBay that my store wasn't meeting minimum requirements but the box showing what requirements were not being met was blank. How can I fix something if I don't know what it is? 2nd was a return a buyer requested due to item not described correctly. Not true but I went ahead and accepted the return because I know eBay won't back me up. The buyer doesn't know what size she wears and bought something too small. Not my fault but I can't win so just accept the return and go on.

Mentor1 month ago · Edited@405pamelas There is a ticket open for the first issue because eBay is not saying WHAT the problem is.
Sellers received email with subject "Notice: eBay Shop Subscription Requirements Not Met" but it doesn't state which requirement they have not met and the link to 'Go to My Account' in email getting error page"
The ticket is ALERT16963
For this I would use this method to contact customer service for the store restriction message.
Go this page>
https://www.ebay.com/help/account/account-restrictions-suspensions/account-restrictions-suspensions?id=4190&st=
Click contact us at the bottom of the page
Next Type Restricted Account in the chat box on the lower right. ( do NOT add more)
After the chat bot replies Type AGENT so you that you can request a call back or chat with a live agent.
You may have to repeat the last two steps.

In regards to the return request you are correct. If a buyer SAYS an item is not as described you must approve the return. If you do not then the buyer can ask eBay to step in. You get a defect and the buyer may be allowed to keep the item.
Be sure to report the buyer for return abuse>
If the buyer abuses the eBay MBG in some way then you can report them but it doesn't get your money back:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/report-issue-buyer?id=4084&st=
Sellers have protection for return abuse if they offer FREE RETURN shipping on their listings OR if they are a Top Rated seller and offer 30 days or greater buyer pays returns. The seller can then reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer sends a different item or somehow reduces the value of the item.
