Where do I find canceling an order due to a listing problem. It's already been paid for.
I forgot to delete FedEx when I made the listing, and it had 0.00 shipping.
Of course, the customer opt for the free shipping. The item listed for $13.00
and the shipping by FedEx is $16.??. Do I have to eat the higher shipping than
through USPS? I sent a message to the buyer to advise if USPS would be ok,
but have not heard back. Thanks for any help you can give.

Mentor3 years agoI would have suggested contacting the buyer with a suggestion to use USPS as the carrier, as long as YOU pay for the shipping, since it's obvious the buyer wants free shipping.

Mentor3 years agoIf you made an error in the listing, you are expected to complete the sale with your buyer and cover the extra expense yourself. If you don't, you create a bad experience for your buyer on eBay.
If you use the option to cancel the transaction in the dropdown next to the order, you'll need to select "out of stock" as the reason. You'll earn a defect on your seller record as a result.
