I'm being scammed, and eBay is allowing it because I've tried to get human assistance, but they only have a bot with pre-set options that don't resolve reported scams. eBay should penalize and block these sellers: baseline-autoparts. Advice to the community: don't buy from new accounts; these are the ones that scam the most, and it can be proven, but eBay doesn't have human agents to handle and resolve these cases. Or does eBay prefer to keep scammers on its side to earn the commission instead of retaining a regular buyer?

You don't have to pay to return it. The seller pays the cost of the return.
(unless you forwarded it out of USA after it was delivered? )
eBay tracks return cases very closely.

If you tell me more, I can better help you with what's happening.
Did you buy a new autopart but got a used auto part?
You should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Damaged or Defective Item", "Missing Parts & Pieces" OR "Different from what I ordered > Didn't Match Description" if the item you got was not what was shown and described.
You can open your return request here. Just click the photo and follow the instructions.
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
-- You can check the status of your case here:
https://www.ebay.com/help/ip?topicId=4667
-- Here is a help page where you can learn more:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/resolving-issues-sellers/checking-status-request?id=4667
Do not close your return request until you either have your refund in hand or you have the replacement item. Do not close it because the seller promises you something.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you already opened the Return Request, the seller needs to provide you with a return label, but if they want it returned to China, they will need to provide you with money so you can buy the return label.
If the seller hasn't provided you with a return label, or the money to purchase a return label, you can 'Ask eBay to Step In' in the case.
If you still want a phone call
-- How to Have eBay Call You --
There is no incoming phone number for buyers or sellers. If you want a call back from eBay Customer Service, here is how to get a call:
Scroll to the Bottom of the page similar to your question
1) Click "Contact Us" or the ? then select choices until you see
2) Chat with our automated assistant (to the left), click that
In the CHAT WINDOW
3) Type "Agent"
4) Click Your topic
5) You may need to click "Something Else" or "More Options" or type "Agent" a few more times
6) Click “Have Us Call You” (or "Chat with an Agent")
-- If you use a call filter on your phone, turn it off temporarily, or it might block the incoming call.
OP4 months agoGe for the advice but Baseline-autoparts offers new and sends used rebuilt because it knows that it comes from the USA and when trying to return it it is expensive and so it washes its hands in not returning the money but ebay is to blame for not canceling those accounts by exposing them with evidence
OP4 months agoThe problem is that the spare part came from the USA and when sending it is expensive that is why Baseline-autoparts scams because it knows that it is expensive to return it and ebay does nothing in those cases to oezar what I have proof that they intentionally scam
