when selling used items should a seller picture something different then they intend to send?
I bought used lawn mower wheels that showed wear in pictures but still had reasonable thread. What i received was bald wheels that were not what was pictured making me believe the seller is dishonest. The wheels can be used but traction is not very good, the pictured ones had reasonable thread. the seller was notified and said request a return. I am thinking of keeping because i need to mow now before the grass is any higher. should i give negative feedback for the sellers action?

Mentor2 years agoHi @goodstuff-richard I agree, send them back. It sounds like you want to mow more than a suburban lawn. If it was just a lawn, it could wait. If you're mowing a field, it's dangerous to try it with bald tires, which is why you ordered new ones. If the seller was dishonest, you must send them back at his expense. Maybe he will learn to be more honest. Feedback does nothing. Good luck!

If the wheels are that bad, you might as well mow with the wheels you already had. I would return them for a refund.
No negative feedback yet ... leave yourself the option in case the seller tries to stiff you on the refund. If you do get
a timely refund, what I'd do is probably leave a positive for adequate customer service.

·2 years agoHi @goodstuff-richard No, you shouldn't keep the wheels if you're going to leave negative feedback. Return the wheels for item not as described for a full refund. EBay will send you a prepaid return label. You have up to 30 days since you received the item to request a return for refund.
