When member abuse eBay policy retracted bids

I only knew that report a member that retracted bids with wrong enter amount is useless for seller, what you can do is block the buyer only.
a so called regular customer or member has been won auctions from eBay, all the way sometimes he do retracted the bids but not often, so as a regular customer I still accepted and close one of my eyes. But recently this 2 months he so called improved or revolution today only he abuse my last days auction with total retracted 7 leading bids, I was a bid on fire, if you not keen to buy it why you bid all and retracted it last day or so called last minutes? I message and talked with him , he told me he don’t want this all lot and he will bid other future lots, I do remind him this practice impacted me as how I gonna answer my consignment customer for their lots? So I decide report to eBay but surprisingly me is eBay cs advise me I only can block him to avoid any future retracted bid from the same member?

·1 year agoUnfortunately eBay seems to have done next to nothing (and I'm being generous with the "next to") to enforce the rule against lying to retract a bid for about a decade now. They have removed the third reason ("Unable to contact seller") from the pick-a-lie menu and did away with retractions in certain categories (involving trading cards) where "bid shielding" was getting out of hand a couple of years ago, but as far as actually doing anything against serial retractors we have not heard anything from anyone complaining about suffering any consequences (and believe me, no matter how warranted a disciplinary action is there are always those who complain about it and come here to see how they can have it removed or get around it) since the mid-2010's.

Ebay no longer enforces invalid bid retractions.
Block them:
