When a new non-responsive seller is not shipping after 6 days or passed the eBay specified ship date
Hi, I bid a $500 starting bid gold necklace and won it at $610 from a newbie seller with no reviews. The buy it now price was $1000. There were 2 bidders. Seller sold 2 items with no reviews. The item has an authenticator guarantee so I bought it because I know the item has to be mailed directly to an authenticator and then shipped to me from there. But it has been 6 days since the auction ended, and 1 day passed the 'seller to ship by' date. I also sent 4 separate emails on 4 separate days asking if I need to provide a phone number because it is signature required delivery. No response for any of the emails. There were only 2 photos. I relied on the description. The seller also has another similar item for sale but it only has 1 photo which looked like it was from the original designer's website. So my gut feelings all along has been telling me that this seller is risky but I went for it because of the authenticator guarantee. As days go by, I have a really bad feeling to justify why the seller wouldn't reply to any emails or not ship after 6 days. What can I do at the point? Doesn't the seller have to wait until the item is shipped before they can get paid? If not, I am afraid that it could be a scam. Any thoughts?

Mentor3 years ago@gulugili Your money is protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. If the seller is not honest then they are going to surprised when they find out their funds will not be released until after tracking shows delivery to you.
Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when the item is at least a day late.

Thank you! Despite the disappointment of not getting the item and also missing out on another opportunity to bid on the same item by another seller, but still glad to be protected by eBay's money back guarantee.
