What’s up with these “offers” not being paid?

Lately I’ve have ALOT of people making offers - then I will accept and these deadbeats never pay! Why is EBay allowing this? I realize they have 4 days to pay, but why should I waste more time having to go file a NPB report. Why won’t EBay make these people have a payment method on file in order to make offers? I REALLY wish EBay would do something about this!

Hi @in-stock-usa ...why should I waste more time having to go file a NPB report... Because that's what is required for eBay to take corrective action. If you don't allow the buyer to earn a strike on his account for not paying, he will continue to do it. eBay cannot do this automatically because eBay doesn't know what communication you and your buyer have had and whether you have extended the time to pay, etc. That's why you have to tell them through the unpaid item cancellation.
