What's time seller?
First time seller. Iisted an item for sale and within an hour. I got a message from somebody that said, I paid and they told me to send you this QR Code. Now, ebay keeps messaging me saying, you have one task, send buyer andNow, eBay keeps messaging me saying you have one task. Send buyer an offer. Why do I need to do that if they've already paid? Plus now What do I do after I take the QR Code at to the Post Office and buy a label and send it. How do I complete the sale on my eBay page?

Mentor1 week ago · Edited@angi463 SCAM! Buyers pay using eBay checkout. They don't send you a QR code to receive payment. Click on the 3 dots on the upper right of the message to report the buyer.
Did you enter any information such as a debit card after scanning the QR Code? If yes you need to immediately contact your bank and report the theft of your card.
You don't ship until eBay says the buyer paid and it's time to ship. Since eBay is saying to send an offer that means it's NOT paid for.

OP6 days agoHow do I actually get notified? When someone legitimately buys an item?

Mentor6 days ago@hipgrams1966 If you are using the app or a computer the notifaction bell will tell you that you have a sale.
Also on a computer ( sorry I don't use the app much) you get a notification that says you have orders to ship> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ovw
You can also check here to see that your buyer paid> https://www.ebay.com/mes/summary
You ship when eBay says that you have been paid. As a new seller you will be subject to fund holds of UP TO 31 days, usually not that long unless it's a high priced item OR if the tracking doesn't show delivery on the eBay site.
