What to do when seller rips you off?
I have been scammed, be aware!!! I won an item and took my money and never sent the item. He now is ghosting me and won’t return my messages. Anyone know what, if anything I can do? I’m being told the item does not have eBay money back guarantee…

What payment method did you use with PayPal? You should still be able to request a chargeback from your credit card company if you used a CC.

OP3 years agoI did use a credit card. I used the “pay in 4 payments†option and it’s all be completely paid for. I did just send a request to pay pal. They told me they Al have reached out to eBay and seller and will get back to my by 3/26. Thank you for your help.

Who told you that this transaction is excluded from the MBG?
I cannot find a sold object from this seller. Was it an of eBay sale? Or are too many days past?

OP3 years agoI received an email from eBay stating it was not under the money back guarantee. And yes I purchased the item 11/30, was told item was back ordered until February (which I did know that the item was preordered and everyone I spoke to agreed it was back ordered) seller received my money and now post as been over 90 days so it’s removed. I’ve messaged seller many times and he/she has completely stopped responding.

·3 years agoI'm so sorry. The transaction should have been cancelled by the seller for being 'out of stock'.
You could have requested a refund, as soon as the delivery date has passed for at least one day.
If you paid with Paypal, you're still in time to request a refund.

OP3 years agoI paid with 4 split payments through pay pal and when I went to website you sent it won’t allow me to report anything? Thank you for trying to help but looks like I’m screwed.
