What to do when item was falsely described?
I purchased 6 pieces of stemware. The stemware was described as NEAR MINT with no damage, etc… But the items I received all were in fair to poor condition. I reached out to the seller who noted that their disclaimer clearly stated that the condition was based on the judgment, research, common sense and is subjective.
The vendor will refund me for the purchase, the vendor does allow returns, I but I am also wanting my shipping charges reimbursed, for I never would have purchased the items if they were represented accurately.
There were photos on the website, that certainly did not show the flaws.
There has to be some sort of protection when clearly a description is not subjective, but clearly false.
Any advice?

·1 year agoIf you file a return request stating the item was not as described, the seller will have to cover the return shipping costs, and it will go on their record, though the specifics of how that will affect them vary greatly depending on their account size and the statistics of their peers.
