What to do when eBay doesn't take lies in item description seriously?

Hi folks,
I rarely use eBay, and wanted to share an experience that is part of why. I'm not looking for answers, really.
Last night, I discovered (yet another) reseller of TCGs who is using poorly-written AI generated descriptions for cards that are vastly different from the items pictured, and has negative reviews from recent customers as a result who felt they were scammed and items delivered were not those pictured. This is to the level of claiming specific, valuable cards are present when they are not, and even putting in the description that the item is actually less than half of the cards pictured for other listings. I reported each listing, and described in detail why the item description did not describe the item. eBay concluded, without fail, that lying to customers about what you're selling, and (for example) claiming to sell 1000 cards when you're selling 12, isn't in violation of their policies. This is why I stopped buying or selling on eBay; how am I to believe they'll have my back when customer service so clearly just does not care? On every other auction website I've ever used, user reports are taken seriously. But not here. Please don't feel a need to reply. I just want you to think, next time you see a fraudulent listing, what the odds are that no one has discovered it, and what the odds are that people have and that eBay doesn't care.
