What to do when bidders don't pay?
Any suggestions when sending many invoices, messages and reminders do absolutely nothing? The only choices seem to be keep sending them invoices (often useless) or cancel the transaction (not fair to sellers). Why isn't there a third option - have ebay force the buyer to pay up or close their account. Otherwise there's nothing to stop a buyer to do this repeatedly. We sellers lose time chasing down deadbeats when our items could be active! Ebay needs to protect sellers too, not just buyers!

There is no need to send a Buyer messages, invoices and reminders. Ebay does that for you. Also, there's been many discussions that when a Seller sends an invoice, it resets the payment clock, giving the Buyer more time.
Ebay gives Buyers four days to pay. As for Seller Protections, if you go to your Account Settings under Buyer Management, there's a box to check to require that your Buyers have a payment method on file before they can place a bid.
