What to do when a company on eBay has sold you fake jewelry and eBay does nothing to help
I purchased 3 different supposed to have been authentic 14k gold rope chains and one of them broke so I was going to get it repaired and they had to test it to verify gold quality in order to repair and found the chain was not real but a fake so I had all of them tested at several different places and all of them are coming back as fake. I reported the matter through eBay and they did nothing. They didn’t even investigate the issue just closed the case without even asking for my proof to support my claim or anything. I hate the fact that it’s okay for people to get ripped off through businesses that are supposed to protect their customers and not allow this type of thing to happen. There definitely should be a stronger method to counterfeit items being sold to customers

Ebay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee for Buyer Purchase Protection. Buyers have up to 30 days from delivery to request a refund if the items they receive are not as described in the listing.
If it's been more than 30 days, the option is to file a chargeback with your payment company. They also have deadlines.
