What to do when a buyer requests a return and refund but opened and used the parfum?

Buyer received the new parfum in sealed box and opened it then used it. Now wants to return it because this particular one did not seem to last as long as his previous use of another bottle of the same kind of parfum. Any advice?

You have a no returns policy on that listing, which is for buyer's remorse: changed mind, didn't like it, doesn't fit, found it cheaper elsewhere. If the buyer states Not as Described, ebay's Money Back Guarantee trumps your no returns policy. However, the buyer will be returning the item in a different condition than sent, opened and used. If you are a top rated seller with 30 day returns or an above standard seller with free returns, you can refund up to 50% of the item price when you get the item back.
