What to do when a buyer gives wrong address and item is shipped

I sold and shipped an item on July 3rd, then on July 13th the buyer messaged me saying they put in the wrong address and could I send it to different address. The item has been returned to sender by the USPS and it is coming back to me. How can I have the customer pay for shipping again since it was their mistake?

If the buyer sent you their updated address, you can send a Paypal invoice for the shipping price to their new address.
