What to do?
Hello eBay community:
Today I listed some dresses for 22.00. I just noticed that someone bid on the items as though it was “a buy it now†item and has paid for it. The listing should have been for a minimum of 7 days. So, no one else could bid on it yet I did not place a “ buy it now†price. What happened? Is this possible?

·2 years agoYou set it up as a fixed-price listing (which is "Good 'til Cancelled" or sold) for $22.00 Buy It Now or Best Offer. Not as a 7 day auction. The buyer used the BIN.

You cannot change it now that the buyer has purchased & paid. You ship the dresses to the buyer.
In the future if you want "bidding only", you use the auction format.

The dresses were listed as a Fixed Price listing, not an auction.
