What should I do????
I reeeally want this item. I bought it. I had a mini heart attack thinking I used the wrong card and cancelled it, but then wrote back 5 mins later "everything is ok I don't want to cancel this ignore the request" and explained what happened. Well... Anyways... The item that had one left of, that I bought seemed to have been immediately relisted! Unless they had another but it still marked as "1 sold 1 available". I texted again later "Please don't cancel" it's still up. No confirmation, no refund. I really want this item. But its from Japan. Is it possible that they're unable to read my messages? Am I screwed out of this? I mean if I had a refund I'd just re buy it. But I don't and I can't afford to. Is this even a possible thing for a seller to do without closing/ going forward with a sale?

Mentor8 months agoBuyers cannot cancel their purchases, they can only REQUEST that the seller cancel the transaction.
It is up to the seller to decide what to do, if they even read your message.
You will either be notified that the transaction has been cancelled or notification that the item has been shipped.

OP8 months agoYep, I know they have up to 3 days to accept or do nothing and the sale goes through. It's ultimately their decision. I just don't really know what's going on. Like are they supposed to relist it without accepting the request and refunding first? That's why I have a feeling they have more. Im just kinda left hanging and the uncertainty is bothering me.

Mentor8 months ago@rhian-4947. If the seller doesn't ship then you will need to file a not received refund request.
Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when it is one day PAST the last estimated delivery date .
You have only 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file a refund request on eBay.
Select your item on this page to start a refund request:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/get-help-item-hasnt-arrived?id=4042&st=
4 business days after you file the refund request ask eBay to step in and help if the seller has not refunded you.
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
If it is more than 30 days past the last estimated delivery date then you can file a refund request on PayPal up to 180 days from the date of purchase. OR if you didn't use PayPal at checkout contact your bank or credit card to report that you didn't receive the item.

Mentor8 months agoYou did not say anything in your original post regarding the seller "accepting".
Did you make an offer or did you make the purchase through a Buy It Now?
