When I try and list a baseball card with a value of say 4 dollars, I can't put the standard shipping of 1.08 because it forces a first class shipping which is more than the card itself and I never had a problem before

It would help if you removed the ‘Solution’ designation from your post … as people might not read the thread if they think your problem has already been solved.
[You do that by editing the post (using ‘v-in-circle’ symbol) … and choosing ‘Not the Solution’.]
