Did you use a flat rate box but a label that was by weight? That would cause a problem. If the box said flat rate, then you must select flat rate when you print your label.
The shipping calculator is spot on accurate, if you enter the correct weight and dimensions, and select the correct service.
It means they disagree with the postage on your package and are charging you for the difference to what they say it should be. It could be due to weight, or to type of service. Were there any details in the notice?
The charges usually come though sooner - they must have a backlog since we have seen a number of posts about it the past week or so. Perhaps they are getting caught up for the 7/9 change.

OP3 years agoThanks. It's really the last straw with eBay. I did not calculate the shipping fee and I used a Priority Mail box.
I paid it yesterday and I will not be dealing with them going forward.
