Mentor1 year agoebay opted all sellers into auto-pay, but sellers can opt out. When a buyer places a bid or makes a Best Offer, ebay asks for an auto-pay method if the buyer ends up the winner or the seller accepts the Best Offer. The charge will automatically be made, but the buyer has 1 hour in which to change the auto pay method originally selected (because not all methods can be selected at the time). ebay did this to try and decrease the number of unpaid transactions.
