What is Ebay's phone number? I need to contact an actual agent.

Thank you.

OP5 months agoThank you for your help! AGENT is indeed the magic word with Ebay.
It took a few more tries, but I finally reached a screen where it asked if I wanted Ebay to call me. I said yes, put in my phone number and they did call. I let the agent know that it should not be so difficult to reach a human on the phone and that I had gone in many circles trying to get help. Their echat was worthless.
FYI, Ebay had made a mistake and they have agreed to refund my shipping cost that had been offered on item I purchased. The free shipping was offered by EBAY on item I bought and was within Ebay's specified time period. I was denied chance to put in code when seller accepted my offer and Ebay put payment through automatically including full shipping cost that was under $10. Buyers beware!
If there is an Ebay discount offered, make sure seller knows it before you make an offer to try to avoid this auto-pay problem when seller accepts your offer.
