What if I make an offer for an item and do not want to pay shipping because I am local?
I am trying to make an offer for a listing that is local to me. I do not want to pay the high shipping price, I do not know how to get it off in my offer?

You can not include a change to shipping in your offer - the offer is for the item price only.
Before making an offer, message the seller and ask if he would be willing to add local pickup as an option to the item. Pickup can be offered in addition to shipping.
