What if a high bidder backs out of a car I want to list on EBay?
So it’s been many years since I’ve listed a car for sale on EBay. I am just a private individual, not a dealer, and I have a beautiful 1963 Mercury Comet that I would like to list.
1) Is this a binding contract between buyer and seller?
2) If the buyer fails to pay, am I stuck with any EBay fees if I want to relist the with the same listing?
3) How long would Ebay require me to wait to relist the car if the first auction fell through?
Thanks for any and all help.

Mentor1 year ago@bgunness eBay Motor vehicle sales are not binding, either party can walk away from the sale.
The fee is charged even if the vehicle doesn't sell.
You can relist as soon as you wish, just keep in mind that you will pay a listing fee again.
