What happens if you reject a seller refund offer during a return dispute?
I have a dispute with a seller right now. I asked to return an item. The seller offered a partial refund. We continued talking about it, and they now want to offer me a full refund. They told me that I have to reject the partial refund offer before they can offer me the full refund. My concern is that the seller has already been dishonest thus far in our attempts to work things out between us. I fear if I reject the partial refund, then Ebay will simply say that is me agreeing to no longer do the return or that it will give me no way to still seek a full refund. I am looking for some guidance in how this process works as I've never had to deal with this in this way before. If I reject the partial refund, do my return request remain open? Or, does rejecting the seller's partial refund offer in essence close my return request?
