What happens if a the product being sold isn't the Real Product (imitation)?
A product I purchased indicates it's the original one but it's made in a different country.
Instead of the UK, is made supposedly made in Australia?
Who follows up on making sure the product is what they're selling it as?
TY

Mentor2 years ago@diacast_70. eBay doesn't have access to sellers items they have listed for sale, this is why eBay has the Money Back Guarantee.
You have 30 days from date of delivery to file an item not as described refund request on eBay.
Select the return item button on this page: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item?id=4041
Doesn't match pictures or description. Or doesn't seem authentic.
4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label OR sent the funds to your PayPal account to pay return shipping if they are in another country then ask eBay to step in and help:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
If you have to purchase a label at the post office with the funds that the seller provided be sure to upload the tracking number into the case. The tracking number is your proof of delivery.
Returns to countries that do not have 1st class delivery confirmation MUST be shipped Priority Mail.
See this link to the USPS website that shows which countries have delivery confirmation for 1st class international packages.

OP2 years agoThank you for this information.
I'd like to let others 'know' this is not the 'real McCoy' I'll post it on 'Feedback'.
Appreciate you taking your time to 'Inform me'.
Best to you 🙂

Mentor2 years ago@diacast_70 Wait to leave feedback until after you get your refund. Things just work out better that way.
The return will go on the sellers record too.

OP2 years agoThank you, Yes, I got the refund.
Leaving a Feedback note stating it isn't made where the 'real product' is made, letting people know.
