what format does e-bay use on this website for the pictures

What format does the camera need to have to post the pictures here on ebay ?I'm getting a new camera, a DLSR. Any suggestions anyone? Thank you kindly.

Hi @badds1 Your camera doesn't have anything to do with it, per se. All digital cameras are OK to take pictures for eBay. Even non-digital, old fashioned film cameras can be used. The trick is how you save them on your computer, or in your phone if you're using the app and not a computer. As @gosimus said in their response, practically all types of digitally saved pictures will work on eBay. The most common is probably JPG and PNG I am uploading a photo of the LA Dodgers super-pitcher to check what my photos are saved as. He is JPG, but I also have plenty of PNG. Good luck!

When saving a picture on your computer, it will ask what format you want to save it as:
