Check eBay tracking to see when and if it gets delivered.
How does the Buyer know theft occurred?
There is nothing for you to do right now until the Buyer files an item not received claim as early as one day past the original delivery date. If you are already passed that date you can file a Missing mail piece with USPS via their site.
If the Buyer files a claim that they did not receive the item you can upload tracking in hopes the item will be delivered within the 4 day claim period. On day 4 you can contact eBay for an extension and they will grant that UPTO 4 more days but then that's it. If the item is not delivered by then you have to refund the Buyer.
But I keep going back to this ... how does the Buyer know the package was stolen??? While Postal and other carrier theft is alive and well to know it has happened before a package is supposed to be delivered is a mystery ...

You are more than welcome. If your schedule permits try to keep us updated here on the transaction.

OP2 years agoWill do. Original delivery was scheduled for this past Monday Nov 13. Tracking still shows in transit. Buyer said he reached out to his local PO and learned of event the relay box was broken into. Also shared with me that my sale was one of five ebay purchases that he made with same expected delivery stolen from USPS relay box in his neighborhood.
