What does "NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FOR FEEDBACK" mean?
Recently received an item I ordered. I did have some communication with the seller after I received it, but nothing bad. Got an email today from Ebay urging me to leave feedback, but when I clicked on the item to leave feedback, I got a message that reads: "NO LONGER ELIGIBLE FOR FEEDBACK". What does that mean? The item was received about 2 weeks ago, so not past the 60-day limit.

OP2 years agoThis was not the case for me. I purchased as I always do, through my own account. My page still shows "leave feedback" and Ebay has emailed me urging me to complete feedback, but then it won't let me. I was concerned there might be something wrong on the seller's end. I was concerned about the authenticity of my items when I received them and did have some (polite) communication with the seller about it, asking him questions. He's a fairly new seller.......Could he have turned off comments from me out of fear?

Mentor2 years agoSellers can not preemptively "turn off feedback comments", or else scammers would be able to avoid getting negatives.

Sometimes Buyers purchase accidentally as a Guest. Those purchases are not eligible for Feedback nor can they be merged into an account. Read about it here: Buying as a guest | eBay

Mentor2 years agoHow long ago did you order that item? The sixty days is from the purchase, not receipt.
If that is not it, most likely either you have already left feedback, or the item has been removed from eBay for a policy violation.
