What does “New†Condition mean to you?
I bought a Tonner doll that was listed as new. I was excited until it arrived yesterday. The shoes and purse that come with that particular model doll are not included, doll has a mildewy scent like it was stored in a basement for 10 years and since the hair was in a doll hairnet in the sellers photos I couldn’t tell that it was not in same style it should be, looks like the curls have been brushed out. Very disappointed as she is a very pretty doll but there is too much going on for it to be new…missing shoes and purse, the smell and the hair. I requested a refund, seller has great feedback, this is my first letdown.

What you describe is indeed not new. This is what eBay says about conditions.

Did you request a return for an item that doesn't match the listing?
On day 4 you can ask eBay to step in if the seller is not cooperative.
