What do I do if the seller is blowing me off about replacing a warranted item?

I probably should have known that buying from some crap company in Hong Kong was going to end with me getting scewed...

Who issued the warranty?
Ebay sellers cannot issue warranties on their items unless they are an authorized dealer for the manufacturer.
Unless the item purchased is brand new, never owned … from a dealer licensed to sell the product … it should be assumed there are no warranties on eBay products.

Sellers can put anything in the listing, it does not make it true.
Warranties are issued by a manufacturer and the seller has to be an authorized dealer to offer a bona fide warranty.
This tactic is commonly used by sellers located in certain countries.

OP2 years agoWell, I should have known...lesson learned, I guess. I appreciate you responding to my question. Is there any recourse I could/should pursue, even if it's just to make others aware that this seller is full of you-know-what?
