What do I do if the incorrect tracking number was sent to me
I ordered a 38# package of kitty litter. The tracking number sent to me was for a fed-ex express package (under 1 #) and through that tracking number I was able to discover the package I was given tracking for went to a Hospital. (I am at a residential address). I am getting no help from seller. Not only that this item was ordered on 9/21.

·2 years agoWhat is the estimated delivery date you were given when you paid (see your Order Confirmation email from eBay)? You have 30 days from then to file for item not received.
If you simply file an Item Not Received you will lose (even if within the 30 days) if the tracking shows delivery to your 5 digit zipcode. eBay will believe the carrier rather than the buyer (or seller). If the online tracking report for the tracking number shows delivery to the same zipcode (5 digit) as what the buyer gave for the shipping address, it will presume it is to that shipping address. That presumption is rebuttable by documentation from the carrier that it was not delivered to that address (the document does not have to give the actual address but merely state it was delivered elsewhere than [your shipping address] since there might be privacy issues). This covers errors by the carrier in mis-delivery (the carrier can tell this by matching the GPS coordinates of the delivery scan with the facts on the ground) and a scamming seller who sends a low value package to another address in your zipcode. See here about appealing the decision if the carrier can document such a problem: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/appeal-ebays-decision-return-missing-item-buyers?id=4039&st=12&pos=2&query=Appeal%20eBay%27s%20decision%20about%20a%20return%20or%20missing%20item%20for%20buyers&intent=appeal&docId=HELP1308
What documentation did you get from FedEx that it was not delivered to the shipping address you gave when you checked out?
