What do I do if I ordered something and didn’t receive it even though it was supposed to have been delivered to the 911 address. But I bought and paid for something I didn’t receive.
Summary: kee20325 ordered an iPhone 14 Plus in July and the package was delivered by FedEx, but left on a vehicle near their residence. Despite FedEx confirming delivery and investigation, the package was never received. kee20325 contacted eBay for a replacement or refund, but was informed that because the package was delivered, no action would be taken. They are seeking advice on how to resolve the issue, expressing dissatisfaction with both FedEx and eBay as they have lost almost $350 and still do not have the phone.
What do I need to do? I ordered a iPhone 14 Plus in July and they sent it fed ex, the package was delivered but left on the back of a vehicle outside beside where I live. I did not receive the package. I contacted fed ex and found out they had left it at /on the premises by where I live. There are two other houses in very close proximity of where the package was left. I reported to fed ex I had not received it, I also contacted eBay to let them know I had not gotten it.
Fed ex opened an investigation, and took my information and got what information I could provide them with. They were supposed to investigate the issue and send me a email/message to inform me of the findings. So it went for about 1/2 day of the next day when I realized they had sent me a email and closed out the investigation. I then tried to contact fed ex and the tracking number was no longer any good, the case number they assigned when they opened the investigation were no longer any good. When I finally got through to them the following day which was on Monday, they said they had talked to the driver and confirmed that there was a picture taken when he laid it on the back of a broken down car outside of three different houses and it said delivered to the address and gps the location.
I had explained to fed ex that I still didn’t receive the package , I asked my neighbors which I don’t even get along with but they stated “they didn’t see fed ex” and because it was delivered to the address it sas to be shipped to they couldn’t do anything else. So it’s now September I still haven’t received my phone, I lost out almost $350.00 and still haven’t gotten my phone. I spoke with fed ex again and they said they can’t do anything about it. They did tell me to contact eBay and tell them that the package was obviously stolen,and tell them to issue me another phone or a refund.
Once I contacted eBay they said they wouldn’t give me a refund or replacement because fed ex delivered the package to where it was shipped. So what should I do??? Someone please help me if you would know. I am out a lot of money, very dissatisfied with eBay and the fed ex. One thing I do know is eBay states they are 💯 responsible to refund or get your items purchased to the person or place they were sent to.

MentorSep 9, 2026 at 1:02 AMSince Fed Ex was able to prove they left the package at the address it was suppose to go to, you will have to file a police report, as well as file an insurance claim with your homeowner's insurance. Neither the seller nor ebay is responsible for packages that are stolen off of your property.
