What do I do if a car sale falls through?
What happens if you sell a used vehicle and then the sale falls through. Do you still get charged the successful selling fee? How do you resolve this if this happens?

·3 years agoOn the US site, there is an insertion fee and no successful selling fee. All fees are up front.
I see you are in Canada.
On the CA site, the insertion is free, with a successful listing fee of $60 or $125.

The fee is charged when the listing produces a buyer (a successful listing), and would not normally be refundable. I don't see a slot for adding a deposit on the Canadian vehicle listing form.
In the past, when the US site had terms similar to the CA site, sellers had requested a non-refundable deposit within the listing and description, and when that deposit went unpaid, were able to open an unpaid item dispute for a fee credit.
