What credit cards does ebay accept.

I've used my card other places with no trouble. It's backed up by my bank card. Amazon's policy doesn't accept PayPal as far as I know. That was last fall though & I haven't tried it again. But I have tried ebay one other day along with today. I had to change to my bank card even though at checkout PayPal was listed to pay with. Thanks for any help ou may provide.
