What can I do if I became an ebay gift card victim?

Mentor3 years agoYou can only be a victim if you sent a photo of the back of the gift card. If you did that, you sent the scammer the complete code for the gift card, and he can then use it to purchase anything off of ebay.
Has it been at least 4 hours since you made the gift card purchase? It takes that long for the transaction to be sent from the retailer to ebay. If it has been that long, but ebay says the card number is invalid, then take the cad and receipt back to the retailer. The clerk may not have activated the card correctly.
