Mentor3 years agoIf you decide to use the regional rate A box, be sure to cover up the UPC codes and the "regional rate A box" markings. Lonnie, from Shed Flips, used 5 of them and they were charged as if they were flat rate priority medium boxes. I don't know what the outcome was when he protested it.

I don't know what happened with the person you are referencing, but I have a lot of Regional Rate cartons left (I stocked up when the notice came out about discontinuing them) and use them all the time...pretty much daily. There is no requirement to cover up the Regional designation on the boxes. The regular weight-based pricing applies. I have never been charged for Flat Rate when I use them.

Mentor3 years ago@inceptions Lonnie, of Shed Flips is a large YouTuber. In a recent video he mentioned sending items in five Regional Rate A boxes, and he was charged for five flat rate medium boxes. Of course he is going to fight it. I have a ton of the RRA boxes, but I haven't had the need to use them.

Mentor3 years agoThe Regional Rate options were discontinued by USPS in January.
If you still have cartons, you can use them, but you will be charged the regular Priority Mail shipping rates based on weight and distance.
