I see where somebody else apparently got the same message and also asked a question however I don’t see a reply that answers the question.
I’ve also sold two items so it seems weird that on this particular listing it’s asking me to verify myself. possibly it’s a buyer asking me to verify myself?? Idk
@tgut1218 That is an attempt to scam you. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the message window and choose “Report messageâ€, and then do not respond and do not follow the link.
If eBay requires you to verify your information, the message will be clearly identified as being from eBay and any link will be clickable and clear.
Thank you very much. I thought it looks Spanish, but the closing kind of caught me off. I got another couple of messages early on that didn’t seem right either. They were asking for money in the form of listing fees however I have not sold anything yet so I ignored those.

THIS IS A SCAM.
Do not click that link or copy and paste it.
If you did, change your eBay password.
eBay does verify you, but that is not the message. Buyers do NOT verify sellers.

If it seems spamish it probably is.
It's not normal to have to copy and paste in the URL.
Is this message supposed to be from eBay? What does it say?
