Weird double tracking on item from seller in China.
Not sure what to make of this. I have no quarrel with the sellers or the item as I received what I wanted in a reasonable time frame.
It was an irregular shipping process.
I received an initial shipping tracking number. A couple of weeks later, I received a communication from the seller that they were rerouting the source of the item to another location, told me to ignore the first shipping tracking number and gave me a second tracking number. The first number continued to send emails regarding the status of the shipment, that presumably was not my shipment anymore.
I received an email on the 27th that the first tracking number package was delivered and signed for by a B.Beanca.
Well, I've been scammed before by an eBay seller, so I check eBay to find out what to do and the instructions are to wait 24 hours and see if the package (with the second tracking number) shows up.
The second tracked package shows up, right when it was supposed to on the 28th.
This just smacks of something really hinky. Get something from China sent to a legitimate address in the states, change the receiving address to a second location, have the second location pack up the legitimate ordered item and send that to the original buyer.
Not sure what's going on here, but I'm not sure I am going to buy from this seller again. Don't want to be involved in anything that even smells funny.
