We were charged $14.25 because the package weighed 1 lb. We paid for 16oz. 16 oz equals 1 pound. How does this happen?

UPS and other carriers have started adding fuel surcharges. UPS' domestic Ground Saver and Air have been adjusted weekly. USPS is adding 8% to most of their services through Jan. 17, `27. So you may want to adjust your items prices with Free Shipping accordingly.
