We have no mail in or out of our town.

Question

USPS said no trucks have come in, no deliveries, no pick ups until tomorrow or Thursday. Even if I take it to the post office, no trucks will take it out of town. I live in the south, where this is very unusual, will it mess with my account? Yesterday's mail was not picked up......
