Watch purchase 8/14/26

Question

I recently purchased a Cartier watch from a seller, paid for it, and it has already gone through authentication and is now being shipped to me.

I noticed that the same seller is currently listing what appears to be the exact same model at a higher price. What concerns me is that the Cartier identification/warranty card shown in the new listing appears to be the exact same card that was shown with the watch I purchased. Some of the photos are different. Some the same.

The date on the card is handwritten in pen, and both the date and the handwriting appear identical—not just similar.

Is this something sellers commonly do. Is this something I should be concerned about? I’d appreciate any thoughts from people who have experience buying authenticated luxury watches online.

@hop_4824 I see what you mean about 318694713977 and 318152017608 It's possible it was an error, and the wrong photo was added to the 2nd listing.

Photos should be of the actual item in the listing.

I am not sure what this card is:

The date on the card is handwritten in pen, and both the date and the handwriting appear identical—not just similar.

Some sellers include a date and their username on a piece of paper as proof that they have the item in hand that day.

A seller might use the same card/paper for all the photos they take that day.

Could that be what you are referring to?
