WATCH OUT-All payouts fine, suddenly asking for documentation
Summary: diamond-angel expressed frustration with eBay for rejecting their legitimate state-issued identification needed for payouts, despite being a long-time user. They experienced issues with the platform, including the rejection of offers and unhelpful automated assistance. diamond-angel decided to limit their listings due to these difficulties and expressed dissatisfaction with eBay's treatment of sellers.
I provide LEGITIMATE STATE ISSUED IDENTIFICATION, EBAY REJECTED IT. Photos and everything.
Don't put anything out here worth more than 100$. They will drag out paying you as long as possible. Already been two weeks, now they are dragging it out more.
I'm ending all listings except one.
Three problems in one day, five hours in 'help' that is not help.
1: EBAY declined 19 legitimate offers for an item that was priced at $500, with auto accept set at $450 (example), the offers were above minimum acceptance criteria. Two hours on that, but worst was they refused to send manual offers to all those that had offered, which I can't do.
2: yesterday payouts fine, been on ebay for 15-20yrs, so long don't remember. Today, they are holding payouts because they wantmy drivers license. I upload THE STATE DRIVERS LICENSE WITH PHOTOS AND MATCHING ADDRESS. They declare it 'not valid.'
The STATE issues it, while they mail you the hard copy, ebay rejected it.
3: The ai help bot is -0- help. It creates circular questions and button choices that do not apply to your problem then prevents human interaction. Both of the aforementioned problems are NOT described in any of the articles. Any questions you ask are ignored in favor of articles that are unrelated.
After 15yrs, very disassatisfied CUSTOMER. (ebay doesn't treat sellers as customers. We are the cattle call making them trillion$ to be ignored with a check box.

Mentor4 days agoI have been selling on ebay since 2000. Once ebay went to Managed Payments, I have submitted my identification, bank statement, SSN, a total of 3 times. I believe they have to do this occasionally, on a schedule, to comply with the federal government's KYC, Know Your Customer/Client.
