Watch list photos
Photos are not showing on watch list. Just boxes with a “?†, 2 stacked squares. Rebooting doesn’t help.
actually, 2 pics do display, out of all. What is happening?

OP2 years agoEburtonlab: SORRY for my delay to reply 😞!!
On your advice, I ended up downloading the eBay app. Images have not appeared back in my own entry to eBay, (used since 2011).
If you are interested, I am VERY unhappy with the app. The watch list photos do, indeed, show, BUT, the app, for me to use, is a user, unfriendly mess 🥵. I use it ONLY when I need watch list photos.
Thanks for your help. You had the only solution 😌.

OP2 years agoNo, different browser, from Safari/google, does not help. Last night, my iPad did an upgrade. No difference. I have rebooted and signed out and back in. No difference. I have plenty of storage.
Odd that there is one item, in watchlist, that shows the picture.
Photos, in watch list , unexpectedly disappeared. It’s been a week, or so, now. Not returning on their own.
I am sorry I didn’t come on to your suggestions right away. I’m floundering around in this Community space.
I haven’t used it before. Thank you, though, for your help. Nice surprise! 🙂

Mentor2 years agoLots of folks using iOS devices seem to be having problems with the Watch List lately. At least some of those seem to be having better results using a different browser. Perhaps some types or versions work better than others; I do not know.
Some image issues can be caused by a network issue, even a temporary one. If the images failed to load while having a network issue, and the page was cached without the images, even when the network connection improved the images may not appear.
It might be worth clearing the cache of one of your browsers to see if that makes any difference.

OP2 years agoWell, apparently, then, I’m not the only one! That's something, at least! I’ll figure out what you mean, by “clearing my cacheâ€, in my browser. As soon as I do that, or a solution, I’ll get back to you.
Thanks for quick reply! -pyan8715

OP2 years agoSo! The iOS mention is apparently my problem. Still no luck on getting photos on watchlist. BUT, i did sign in, on my MOTO phone, and did get photos. I think I figured out how to clear the cache, from my google/ safari browser. I cleared out a LOT, (most). No luck on pictures appearing.
I think I’m screwed 🤦â€â™€ï¸.
What next? Do I close out our conversation? Thanks for trying ðŸ˜. Pyan8715

Mentor2 years agoHave you tried using Firefox as a browser? Or using the eBay app to view your Watch List?
It might also be worth erasing just your eBay cookies in Safari or Chrome to see if that makes any difference.
Someone might have another suggestion, so you may want to leave this thread open until you find a solution or at least a workaround.
If the problem is due to something eBay or Apple has done, they may undo it at some point.

OP2 years agoThank you! I don’t have time this week to mess with this issue any more. I will look into getting the eBay app,
(I am anti-apps).
You have had good suggestions. For now, I will leave this conversation open, and, get back to you when I’ve delved back into the problem ðŸ¤.

Mentor2 years agoWhich app or browser are you using? Latest version?
Any difference if you try another browser?
